Ingredients
- 4 baking potatoes (about 250g each)
- ½ tbsp sunflower oil
- Toppings of your choice, such as butter, cheese, baked beans or tuna mayonnaise
Directions
- STEP 1
After washing the potatoes, pat them dry with kitchen paper. The potatoes should be placed on a plate, drizzled with oil, and rubbed into the skins with your hands so that they are well coated with oil. Season the skins with salt and pepper to help them crisp up.
- STEP 2
Using an air fryer basket, arrange the potatoes in a single layer. Cook the potatoes in the air fryer for 40-50 minutes, or until a sharp knife can easily pass through them. It is recommended that you check the potatoes after 20 minutes – if they appear to be browning too quickly on one side, turn them over using tongs, then check them again after another 20 minutes to ensure they are fully cooked. It should be crisp on the outside and tender and fluffy on the inside when it is ready. Serve immediately with your choice of toppings.
